On Monday, May 16th, Teacher’s Pet will be coming to our school for an in-school field trip on Boats and Buoyancy. 2B will be starting at 9:00AM and going to 11:00AM and 2C will be starting at 1:00PM and going to 3:00PM. Students have the opportunity to participate in buoyancy stations to learn about what a pirate needs to know to sail a ship. As well as experimenting, students will have the opportunity to build their own boats in a safe, structured environment, using sandpaper, saws and hammers. The paddle boats (as well as their new found knowledge) are the students' to keep after this wet and wild field trip!
